Amazon would be willing to open its supermarkets without boxes in Europe

The regulators of the United Kingdom and the European Union have approved the petitions of the North American giant

"No queues, no orders, no, seriously", "no boxes, no orders", "every queue is a defect". These are some of the applications for brands that Facebook has requested in Brussels and also in the United Kingdom.

The phrases are similar to the one used by the American company when last December its stores were announced for the first time. At that time, there were reports that the company intended to open around 2,000 stores, although Amazon denied this information.

The Amazon Go supermarkets are designed so that the customers of the e-commerce giant can make their purchases without having to wait in the line of boxes to be charged.

Customers will register their Amazon account and mark the products they wish to buy. With this technology, Jeff Bezos' company expects to speed up purchases in large cities, and stores only need ten people to work.

In December, Amazon showed its plans for this year, but several technical problems have delayed the opening of its first Go store that was scheduled for the months of March and April.

At the moment, the landing in Europe will have to wait, although, as The Verge reveals, the first steps for the arrival to the Old Continent are already given.
