Artificial intelligence is already able to measure the quality of sleep

   Seven out of ten Spaniards have poor sleep quality, according to the Organization of Consumers and Users (OCU). However, 40% of respondents are not aware of suffering from this problem.

Therefore, technology reappears as an ally. Xiaomi, the Chinese technology company, has presented Lunar, a device that will analyze the quality of sleep of its users.

For Lunar to work, simply insert the device between the sheets and sleep next to it. Thanks to a WiFi connection and send information and data to an Android device via WiFi.

According to GizmoChina, the device intelligently analyzes sleep quality and provides periodic reports through the mobile application, which is installed on any Android or iOS device and connects via WiFi.

The sensor does not have to be in contact with the skin to work but it is enough that it is inside the pillowcase or under it. The device not only measures sleep but also gives advice to sleep better and even finds a suitable music so that the user can fall asleep.

Lunar does not transmit electromagnetic waves while the user is sleeping and needs very little power to operate, so the battery can hold up to 90 days with only one hour of charging. The device is available for only $ 10 on the Xiaomi crowdfunding platform and is expected to be delivered by mid-January next year.
